Welcome to the EDGE!
At Saint Stephen Catholic Church, we fully embrace the concept of
Christian community and the spread of the Good News. Our youth
ministries give each individual the opportunity to encounter the Christ
in both as an individual and in a community. Through these intimate and
communal settings, we lift each other up in a positive, support
atmosphere. We understand that each child is different and may identify
with Christ's living word different. This is why we offer a variety of
settings with which our children can be lifted up and grow within their
own peer community as well as the greater parish community.
It is the Church's responsibility to see to it that our middle school youth experience Christ in an exciting and dynamic program that challenges them and invites them to walk with Jesus, as well as being in tune with their unique needs. The EDGE is such a program. It is designed to meet their educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. As part of the Catholic Church's mission to evangelize and spread the gospel message of Jesus, middle school youth are encouraged to bring their friends to youth group activities.
