DISCUSSION:
Following Jesus to is to be taken very seriously. To lead we must serve. Our influence
must increase.
We must use our faith on purpose to do that.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
September 18, 2018 minutes were approved.


PARISH MANAGER’S REPORT Tom Doyle


Changes in leadership of coffee & donuts ministry
Sign ups came and training started Sunday
Two more training sessions are being planned.
This will become a ministry on it’s own to take care of logistics
Will be under Administration Ministry - John Nemia
Jen Kalle is handling scheduling and planning
Sign up is available on website
Coordinated through the office with Bernie
Will be at 7:30 and 9:30 mass


We will start advertising for Counting Ministry in December
Counters for months of April and October
Will be under Administration Ministry - John Nemia


Personnel - We will be searching for replacement for Katherine.
Father recommended service project should be part of the job once a month.


Still looking for person for maintenance position.


Second offering at mass to support hurricane relief last Sunday was very successful.
Very grateful for the ushers that put it together on short notice.


FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT Gustavo Bustamante


Finance report reviewed.

Will be published in the bulletin.


REPORT HIGHLIGHTS PPC Members (As Required)


Nick Turco - Welcoming/Outreach/Stewardship


Welcoming Committee met about a week ago.
Looking at how we can support the weekend experience and parking
greetings
it was noted that we have on average 40 new families per month.
Meet n Greet with Ministry Leaders is being planned.
Want to make parish feel like warm family.
Meeting this coming week.
29 people in Ministry.


Outreach Committee
Meeting next Wednesday. 39 members.
Will reach out to 25 inactive people and work on that.


Stewardship Committee - Bill Brown is leading.
Ministry fair only reached people that come to mass.
Need to validate parish records and electronically start that process.
How do we reach the people that attend mass regularly?
Ministry booklet to be sent out.


Recommended quarterly listening session to shine light on co-existence of Council and
parish members is being considered.


Ted Russell - Angels Among Us
Looking for donations for baskets for silent auction.


David Papke - Parking
Parking permit for blocking lane should be approved if we have someone with
MOT training.
Cost of MOT training is $280 and 16 hr. training.


Julio Alvarez - Liturgy/ Faith and Action
Liturgy
Scheduling program going live tomorrow for all ministries.


Faith and Action
Parish Knights are establishing Family of the Month program.
Nominees to be submitted to Knights committee.

OLD BUSINESS

David Papke - Music Ministry Director search continues.

Thursday evening audition upcoming.
Much appreciation expressed for Dr. Mark who is helping us out during

PASTOR’S COMMENTS Father Dermot
Need to revisit Mission Statement for it to be unified throughout the Diocese
Needs to be in line with Diocesan Mission


Pray Living Courageously prayer before mass.

Changing the process for receiving communion.

Meeting with Bishop tomorrow.

New program will be implemented January 1, 2019.
Strategic Plan to be Presented by 3/1/2019
