Our Master Plan
It is Time to Build Boldly for our Future
- Master Plan for
the Boyette Road Campus includes a New Church Building, St. Stephen Parish Life
Center, and additional parking lots. We
have left place markers for flexibility for future generations as well.
- 38,000 sq. foot Church building including 1,600 plus seats – St. Stephen’s first ever permanent Sanctuary!
- Chapel including 150 plus seats
- 20,000 sq. foot St. Stephen Parish Life Center which will accommodate the Parish Offices, Cafeteria for the School, and Multi-Purpose Meeting Rooms for various Ministries
- The St. Stephen Parish Life Center will accommodate several of the core ministries of the church that currently do not have meeting space.
- Flexible outdoor spaces are being created for everything from places for meetings and gardens for meditating, such as Mary’s Garden, to recreational areas for our children and youth.
Our Shared Future…
- The execution of the Master Phase One development plan will depend on the success of the largest fundraising effort in the history of the parish. The cost is estimated at $14,000,000.
- The Building Our Future Together Campaign has (to date) received pledges of about $6,5000,000 to help fund this project in pledges over a 3-5 period.
- The sale of our current property: the diocese has promised $2 million or market price for our present property. When resold by the diocese, the profit will be split 50/50 with the parish.
- Loan: A $5,500,000 loan to the parish to match our $6,000,000 raised.
Our Sacrifice…
Our goal is participation of 100% of our parish family. This campaign is a planned, methodical approach to involve all of St. Stephen parish in living out the Christian principal of stewardship: i.e., giving back to God a portion of the blessings that you have received according to how you have been blessed. We are all expected to participate in the building up of God’s Kingdom here on earth. It cannot be left to just a few.
Many Ways to Give...
The campaign seeks pledges payable over a three to five year period. The campaign’s pledge redemption plans afford great flexibility, and gifts and pledge payments may be made in any number of ways. Pledges and outright gifts may be paid by check, stock, electronic funds transfer or credit card. Pledges are written statements of intent made in good faith and best allow the parish to plan for expenditures related to construction.
COMMEMORATIVE OPPORTUNITIES
There will be several commemorative opportunities available at the Church and St. Stephen Center, including harvested rescued stained glass.
