Sometimes God Just Takes Over
Have you ever asked yourself, “how or why did that happen?" Suppose it was something good. I have that answer --- ask God!
So many times in this blog I have eluded to the fact that I am not the most organized person in the world. It frustrates everybody, including myself. People who are organized have less stress and more accomplished in a shorter length of time. So perhaps in the New Year I will take very small steps to improve on this. They will be baby steps because I do not want to get discouraged and give up or slip back.
So it is with our relationship with God. We have to give ourselves time and not compare our faith life with someone else. When we look at our own life we can see where we need to place our efforts. Today I learned that for me I have to let God lead the way and trust that He will use me where I am needed. He is my God and I am His disciple and I am honored.
As we approach the celebration of Jesus’ coming to earth as an infant and in the future at the Final Judgment we realize that we should bring the gift of ourselves to the manger in our brokenness and we ask God to help us to see and accept ourselves as we are and then ask Him to develop our spiritual plan for drawing closer to Him.
May your waiting time be peaceful.
God bless,
