Vocation Awareness Ministry

Vocation Awareness Ministry

Vocation Awareness: This is not your typical Vocation Ministry.  We are a fun group comprised of both men and women who strive to raise awareness of the need to pray for vocations and to educate our parish community about vocations to the priesthood and religious life.  We meet once a month, in a casual setting, to discuss upcoming opportunities for support and education of our church/diocesan seminarian program.

Not sure if you'll fit in?  Then you are the right person for this group!!

We invite anyone interested in participating in the Vocation Awareness Team to join us at one of our meetings, or during our monthly group prayer gatherings at the church.

For alerts and reminders, please be sure to download the St. Stephen App and toggle "Vocation Awareness" in the Notifications section in the upper left hand corner of the App.

To pray for those in the discernment process within our diocese, please follow this link https://www.dosp.org/vocations/meet-our-seminarians/   for a complete list of  seminiarians.

Pleas click HERE to view the December calendar from the Diocese for daily prayers for priests, and future priests.  The Bishop asked us to set aside every Wednesday for prayers for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Each month the Vocation Awareness Team highlights one or two seminarians.  We ask that you pray for these men as they go through the discernmet process that their hearts are open to listen to and follow God's will.
