The Sacrament of Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is, with Baptism and Eucharist, one of the three Sacraments of Initiation; Confirmation completes and confirms the grace of baptism. At the Rite of Confirmation, the candidate is anointed with the sacred chrism and the baptized person is enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit, and more than ever obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed. (Catechism of the Catholic Church).
8th Grade Confirmation: Our Youth Confirmation Program is a two year program with preparation beginning in the 7th grade and completed at the end of 8th grade year, consisting of two consecutive years of Faith Formation.
High School Confirmation: We also offer confirmation for high school students and High School Retreats. Please contact Kim Davis at Kim@ststephencatholic.org for information.
